Categories:

Nice & lean and trimmed of all the nasties, our topside roasting joint is a great tasting, classic beef joint ideal for those Sunday roasts.

Shopping for a special occasion? Try our Rolled Rump of beef joint for a premium alternative to the Topside.

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS:
Preheat your oven to 200 degrees
Lay foil in a roasting tin, sit the joint in the foil, and pull the foil up so that the joint sits tight in the foil, nice and high up the sides of the joint, to ensure that the joint will cook in its own juices.
Cook in the oven for 25 mins per 500g
Do not allow your joint to ‘rest’ as it will continue to cook,. Our recommendation is to slice your joint and serve immediately. If upon slicing you feel some of the middle is undercooked for your liking, a couple of minutes back in the oven on your serving plate will finish it off.
If probing your joints the following temperatures should be reached depending on how you like your joints…
Rare - 54 degrees
Madium-Rare - 56 degrees
Medium - 58 degrees
Well Done - 62 degrees
